WHITE WINE TO GO
- Chard (Carnoso) 2017$39.90ChardonnayCA - Sonoma County - Knights ValleyPineapple, Citrus, Butterscotch, and VanillaAlcohol 14.10%Translating to “succulent” this Urban Press Chardonnay does not disappoint! It is straw yellow in color, with clean, crisp aromas of exotic fruits and ocean-like minerality. The Carnoso’s body opens up on the palate with soft, delicate acidic notes of lemon and citrus that combines into a refreshingly long, well-balanced finish. This style of chardonnay is aged in meticulously hand selected New French Oak making it lighter, and not overly oaky or buttery. This chardonnay would pair perfectly with lighter foods making it a perfect springtime wine.
- Due Vigne Bianco 2017$39.90Marsanne + RoussanneCA - Sonoma County - Alexander ValleyStonefruit, Quince, Almond, Lemon, and Honeydew Melon14.5%Experience the enchanting 2017 Due Vigne Bianco/Marsanne + Roussanne blend. Its oak-infused aroma leads to a silky mouthfeel, unveiling a symphony of peaches, nuts, honeydew melon, and white flowers. Crafted with artistry, this Urban Press wine pairs beautifully or stands alone for an unforgettable journey.
- Fiore Grenache Blanc 2017$38.00Grenache BlancCA - Sonoma County - Alexander ValleyWhite Peach, Ripe Pear, Mango, Green Fruits, Lime, and White Flowers14.2%Fiore is Italian for “bloom”, “blossom”, “flower”, which is why we chose a perfect white rose. Our Grenache Blanc is as delicate, yet stellar and when you put this wine to your nose, it’s like a bouquet. The Grenache Blanc is a white grape mainly found in the Rhône region of France or Spain and is not common in the United States. Elegantly cultivated, this varietal may be crisp or full-bodied, and low acidity. This varietal is aged in hand picked neutral oak, making it richer and more complex with aromatic honeysuckle notes. Grenache Blanc has a complex aromatic profile which includes, floral aromas, fruitiness (white flesh fruits), and is refined and light. Visually, it’s green straw in color and is ominous and flowing with natural acidity with a clean persistent finish.
- La Terra Sauv Blanc 2017$41.80Sauvignon BlancCA - Sonoma County - Capay ValleyGrapefruit, Herbaceous (Basil), and Peach14.6%The clean nose on this Sauvignon Blanc shies away from intense, tart citrus and trades it in for cooler, softer notes of ripe grapefruit, nuts, and light basil. Underlying sea salt and light vegetable notes give this wine the perfect balance without overpowering the ripe notes of softer fruit. While pleasingly tart, it leaves out the dry bitter pucker on the finish that is characteristic of many Sauvignon Blancs.
- Rhoon (Marsanne) 2017$49.40MarsanneCA - Sonoma County - Alexander ValleyStonefruit, Quince, Honeydew Melon, and Lemon14.7%Subtle notes of crisp white peach and honeydew melon show on the nose. Upon tasting, those notes come to the forefront balanced with light acidity that produces a crisp finish that lingers without overstaying its welcome.
- Tutto Bianco 2017$39.90Marsanne + Grenache Blanc + ViognierCA - Sonoma County - Alexander ValleyYellow Fruits, Quince, Zesty Citrus, Green Apple, and Fresh Herbs14.4%“Tutto bianco” means “all white,” but we wanted to buck that trend a bit with the depiction of one black sheep to symbolize originality of one who bucks the trends and makes their own rules. This marriage of Marsanne and Grenache Blanc is straw Yellow in color, giving off fresh floral notes along with an almost sea-salt minerality on the nose. It is lighter and crisp, and full-bodied. The Marsanne delivers the boldness to this wine whereas the Grenache Blanc delivers the aromatic profile. This Varietal is aged in hand selected neutral oak making it soft and supple. Tutto Bianco is bright with low acidity and can be served as an aperitif. It is fleshier, and oilier making it a good alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc.
- Tutto Bianco 2018$49.40Marsanne + Grenache Blanc + ViognierCA - Alexander CountyYellow Fruits, Quince, Zesty Citrus, Green Apple, and Fresh Herbs14.40%“Tutto bianco” means “all white,” but we wanted to buck that trend a bit with the depiction of one black sheep to symbolize originality or one who bucks the trends and makes their own rules. This marriage of Marsanne, Grenache Blanc, Rousanne and Viognier grapes from Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley stands unique among other white blends. Fresh floral notes along with an almost sea-salt minerality shine through in the nose. Lighter and crisp, rather than soft and full in body, this wine exhibits zesty citrus on the palate, accompanied by green apple and subtle notes of fresh herbs and green pepper that linger in the finish.
