What do you do when your favorite selvedge denim gets ripped? Britches Get Stitches. [pause for laughter] The tap list favorite West Coast IPA returns today, albeit with a few tweaks. “Britches’ sports a blend of base malts from our friends at @murphyrudemalting and a healthy dose of oats just to make sure the mouthfeel doesn't get too thin. In a quest to make this beer a little danker, we swapped out the Idaho Gem for Strata. CTZ & Mosaic remain in the mix to make sure ‘Britches Get Stitches’ stays true to it’s roots. In true West Coast form, ‘Britches’ got plenty of hot side hopping for pronounced bitterness and an aggressive dry hop charge at the end of fermentation. Pouring brilliant gold in color, Britches Get Stitches shines with notes of evergreen, tropical fruits, dank blueberries, ruby red grapefruit & getting sunburned because you fell asleep on the beach.
