The broccoli stems are sauteed with onions and garlic and then cooked with veg stock (Carrots, onions, celery, bay leaf, black pepper, garlic) and heavy cream then pureed with cheddar cheese, and the broccoli tops. The texture is not completely smooth. Served in a bowl with jalapeno oil drizzled on top. The grilled cheese is cheddar on homemade sourdough served on the side. Jalapeno oil is jalapenos and lemon zest infused into canola oil.
