Native Texan Jackie van Sant Downes moved out to Sonoma County from Texas to start her wine career in 2007, and in 2013 she made her dream a reality by starting her own brand. Franklin’s blend is named for Jaclynn’s Grandpa and is a Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. It is bursting with flavors of concentrated cassis, currant, dark plum, coco, violet and a slight hint of vanilla and oak spice.
