In collaboration with chef and wellness entrepreneur Charles Chen, we've reimagined Lu Rou Fan, a traditional Taiwanese meal inspired by his childhood family meals. Five spice braised pork, infused with star anise, cloves, Chinese cinnamon, Sichuan pepper, and fennel seeds, is paired with garlic-roasted cabbage, marinated egg, shiitake mushrooms, and pickled daikon radish, served on cauliflower rice and edamame. Topped with crispy fried shallots on the side and accompanied by a five-spice sauce featuring hoisin, soy, sesame, and black garlic; this modern take on a classic recipe celebrates Taiwan's culinary traditions with a healthy twist on ingredients, ready to enjoy anytime, anywhere.
