- Asiago Artichoke Dip$12.00Perfectly crusty (how your children describe you) savory bread topped with a delightful spread of Asiago cheese and diced artichoke hearts.
- Italian Nachos$12.00These are nacho mama's nachos. (they're our mama's nachos.) toasted pita chips smothered in Asiago cheese, Italian sausage, banana peppers, tomatoes, and black olives.
- Meatballs & Mozzarella$14.00Even mama says it's a great day to be a meathead. Two meatballs covered in ooey-gooey mozzarella.
- Artichoke Fritters$12.00Don't go breakin' my heart, but feel free to dredge these artichoke hearts in seasoned flour and delicately fry them. Then serve 'em up with horseradish dip.
- Calamari$14.00Lightly breaded calamari, fried and tossed with olive oil, banana peppers, green peppers, onion, and black olives. It's squidlicious.
- Fried Oysters$12.00Rolled like the pearls we found inside them, lightly fried, and served on a bed of spinach with an august Caesar dressing. See what we did there. Caesar Augustus.
- Bruschetta$12.00A toast to appetizers! Grilled bread (get it) rubbed with olive oil and topped with tomatoes, cheese, basil, and garlic. Seriously, grilled bread toast. Work with us here.
- Fried Green Tomatoes$12.00Enough said. They are tomatoes, they are green, and they are fried. Served with horseradish sauce.
Mussels & Burger
- Steamed Mussels$14.00Hey, all you 97-pound weaklings, here's the best way to build your mussels. Steam in wine sauce with garlic, parsley, and thyme. Charles atlas approved. (you're young. Google him.) mussels marinara, bleu cheese and prosciutto, red onion, garlic, and light butter. Served with one side Parmesan fries, pasta salad, a cup of soup, house salad, or Caesar salad.
- Mama's Burger$12.001/2 pound burger served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, and onion and your choice of toppings. Choose from Swiss, cheddar, American, mushrooms, and bacon. Served with one side Parmesan fries, pasta salad, a cup of soup, house salad, or Caesar salad.
- Meatball Sub$14.00Served with one side Parmesan fries, pasta salad, a cup of soup, house salad, or Caesar salad.
Entrees
- Asiago Chicken$18.00Asiago is both a small town and a popular cheese in Italy. We decided to go with the cheese. You're welcome. Chicken with prosciutto, cream, onions, and mushrooms tossed in an Asiago cream sauce with bow-tie pasta.
- Chicken, Salmon or Shrimp Piccata$18.00In Italy, the word piccata means annoyed, and while that might describe the chicken (and who would blame it.) it won't describe you. Sautéed chicken in butter and lemon sauce with capers and mushrooms.
- Sweet Chili Linguine$18.00Strangely reminiscent of that first serious relationship. Sweet and spicy with a kick. Blackened chicken in a sweet chili sauce with Parmesan cheese and cream over linguine.
- Chicken Capellini$18.00Slices of chicken breast tossed with capellini, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, garlic, and capers. In a white wine lemon sauce.
- Eggplant or Chicken Parmesan$18.00In the 13th century Italy, folks called eggplant the maple because it was thought to incite insanity. In 21st century old Louisville, we just call it insane. Like mama. Lightly breaded and fried eggplant slices over capellini, tossed in ragu al Pomodoro, and topped with Parmesan and provolone cheeses baked to perfection.
- Hearty Lasagna$20.00Which is nothing like our lung's lasagna. Nothing. House-made family recipe layered with Italian meats, ragu al Pomodoro, and ricotta, and provolone cheeses. Topped with Parmesan and baked to a golden brown. Please allow extra time for perfect baking. (if you're in a hurry, we'll do the imperfect one.).
- Blushing Florentine Ravioli$16.00It's embarrassing to be this beautiful a dish. Ravioli shells stuffed with ricotta and Romano tossed with wilted spinach and a creamy blush sauce.
- Chicken & Pesto Tortellini$18.00Mama says, “don't pesto me off. Clean your plate!" no problem with this cheese tortellini served in an asparagus pesto cream sauce with chili flakes, garlic, pine nuts, and white wine vinegar, sliced chicken, and fresh basil.
- Crazy Caprese Salad$12.00Because that's how you pronounce it: ca-crazy. And because it is crazy delicious. Tomatoes, basil, buffalo mozzarella, balsamic glaze, and our famous sweet basil dressing. Add grilled shrimp.
